About the Awards

The Singapore Institute of Food Science & Technology (SIFST) is proud to open submissions for the SIFST Food Product Awards 2026–2028, an esteemed recognition of outstanding achievements in food innovation, product excellence, and healthier choice formulation.

Food establishments — both local and international, owned by Singaporeans or Singapore-registered companies — are invited to submit commercially packaged food and beverage products launched within the past two years (2024–2026). Products sold online are also eligible.

Three Categories

This cycle’s Awards will be presented across three categories:

SIFST Best Product Award

Open to all entries. Recognises outstanding product quality, sensory experience, packaging and overall consumer value.

Winner: SGD 3,000 Merit: SGD 1,000

SIFST Healthier Choice Award

Recognises products that demonstrate exceptional nutritional benefits, reduced sugar or sodium content, and alignment with Healthier Choice Symbol guidelines.

Winner: SGD 3,000 Merit: SGD 1,000

SIFST Innovation Award

Recognises products that showcase groundbreaking innovation in formulation, processing technology, packaging design, or novel food concepts that advance the industry.
